Julie spent her first few years at DMS overseeing the development and implementation of brand-marketing strategy to drive growth of all portfolio brands at David Milligan Selections. Now she spearheads operations and implements strategy throughout the company.
Before Julie Milligan (born Julie D. Andrews) became a wine wife in 2015, she was a health and lifestyle writer turned brand copywriter with a love of outdoor adventure and travel. Her articles have appeared in publications and websites from Elle to Women’s Health, Prevention, Men’s Journal, New York Magazine, Fitness and Shape. When a friend invited her onto an agency writing team for a rebrand project, she dove head-first into copywriting and later founded Jules’ Ink Copy Boutique.
Before coming to DMS, Julie spent 12 years in copywriting, Julie spent time as a copy director at Time Inc., a branded content manager at New York Magazine and a senior social copywriter at Marriott International. Julie’s the company storyteller, brainstormer, namer, content strategist, branding geek and daydreamer. Julie is passionate about the French countryside, people, way of life and wine and says the wine journey is ripe for the curious.
