Chateau de Lescours was originally built in 1341 by a squire of King Edward III. Today the estate is stewarded by Pierre Chariol, a dynamic 5th generation winemaker and passionate naturalist. The 18-acre estate is surrounded by a deep moat and set in the midst of a 100-acre forest, creating a unique microclimate.
An HVE (High Environmental Value) certification highlights a commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable practices. Monsieur Chariol leans on the traditional grapes of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc to create classic Grand Cru Bordeaux blends. The harmony of this synergistic blend brings a consistent balance of power, finesse, and concentration.
