In honor of National Women’s Month, we celebrate Stéphanie Dondain, Owner of Château Cabezac. Please join us in taking an inside look at the family winery.

Stéphanie spent years at her father’s side learning about wine and joined him at Château Cabezac as his Sales & Marketing Director.
In 2019, she took the reins as the estate’s owner, who manages the winery and oversees everything from vineyard care and wine blending to wine events and cellar management.
“The world of wine is an incredible place. I get to meet such a diverse range of people and hear their stories. It’s very enriching,” says Stéphanie. “And all over a glass of wine!” Stéphanie is joined by her son, Arthur, and daughter, Alice, working at the family winery making Minervois, an appellation from the western Languedoc.

Cabezac Minervois Blanc “Alice,” named for Stéphanie’s daughter, just earned 92 Points from Tasting Panel! “Charming blend that’s steely and lean with a verve that brings out floral tones, anise, and tangerine zest,” they write.
Being connected to the earth is the best thing about working in wine for Stéphanie, “seeing how the beautiful land on the estate grows and changes throughout the year.”
We were thrilled to recently add Château Cabezac to the Milligan Portfolio – our first Minervois (Min-er-Vwah) wines (from western Languedoc) – and they’re killer.
