Château Vitallis 92 Points!

Congrats Denis & Maxime Dutron! Château Vitallis Mâcon-Fuissé 2016 Earns 92 Points.

We just got the excellent news that Château Vitallis Mâcon-Fuissé 2016 earned 92 Points from Wine & Spirits magazine and will be showcased in the April 2019 issue. It’s also named a Year’s Best White Burgundy and a Best Buy. This Burgundian Chardonnay boasts refreshingly bright acidity coupled with pleasant tropical fruit tones. It’s an easy-going, elegant and crisp white ready to be enjoyed tonight. This unique Mâcon comes from the Fuissé commune, sharing the terroir of the highly esteemed Pouilly Fuisse. It’s still flying under the radar. But not for long!

The estate, founded by the Dutron family in 1835, has been run by Denis Dutron since 1981. In 2010, Denis’ son Maxime joined the family winery and today is the Domaine’s winemaker. Clearly, Maxime has had an excellent influence!

As you may know, David Milligan Selections is also proud to offer sister Lucie Dutron’s Macon-Villages, which she produces with her husband Stephane at Domaine Cruesserome. This was the first of our wines to honor a Lady’s name on the label. It’s new to our portfolio and it’s stunning, similar in style to Vire-Clesse. Simply Delicious.
